Traceable British steel supply

We work with independent British rolling mills to supply light gauge steel frame sections manufactured from galvanised steel coil. Every steel strip used in our components is traceable from its source of manufacture through to its performance criteria — which is what a main contractor needs when the golden thread has to hold up at a Building Safety Regulator gateway.

Sections, and the calculation methods embedded in the designs they are supplied against, are produced to British Standards and Eurocodes.

System partners

We source from the major UK SFS manufacturers — Frameclad, Metsec, Hadley and EOS among them — rather than being tied to a single system.

That matters more than it sounds. Each system has different section profiles, different tested wall build-ups and different lead times, and the right choice depends on the project rather than on who we have an agreement with. We used Frameclad at Perrymount Road, an 8-storey standalone panellised build, and again at 56 Chatfield Road, where familiarity with the system filled gaps the architect’s information left open.

Supply chain

Our merchant and materials partners include Travis Perkins, ADA Fastfix, CCF, A&M Drywall and Encon Insulation. We publish these openly and a full supplier list is available to clients on request.

Why supply and installation together

Where the same party supplies and installs, a delivery shortfall is a problem to solve rather than a dispute to have. At Albany Court, deliveries had to reach Level 5 of an occupied block on a narrow residential road with no loading provision — every lorry needed a parking space arranged in advance with residents. Across the whole programme not one delivery was rejected.

That is a supply chain result as much as a site management one.
