Technical Installation of High-Rise SFS Infill System
This project presented a unique and complex challenge in terms of installation. Our team was appointed to complete the installation and fully manage the on-site works for this advanced infill system in partnership with Steel Frame Solutions. The scope of works included:
- Installing insulation between the studs,
- Fitting two layers of plasterboard, and
- Adding one layer of thermal acoustic panels for enhanced performance.
Precision Lifting of 18-Meter Studs from MEWPs
The studs, each towering at 18 meters high, required meticulous handling and were erected using an electric hoist. Our team worked from MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms), while ground personnel carefully guided the positioning of each stud during lifting—a highly coordinated effort demonstrating exceptional precision and teamwork.
Critical SFS Walls for UK Military Defence Warehouse
Given the project’s importance and tight deadline, our dedicated team extended working hours, including weekends, to ensure successful and timely delivery. This project demanded the highest level of professionalism and commitment, and we are proud to say our team exceeded expectations.
Outcome and Conamar Building Services Commendation
The wall itself played a critical role in separating the office areas from military defence weapons storage, making this an essential part of the UK Military Defence Warehouses. At the conclusion of the project, one of Conamar Building Services’ regional directors expressed heartfelt gratitude and admiration for our team’s dedication and craftsmanship.
